Cohort Analytics
Evaluate  ·  Streamline  ·  Connect

Your business keeps getting better.
Let's find what hasn't caught up yet.

Every tasting room, taproom, restaurant, and retail floor deserves a second set of eyes on the operation. We work alongside your team to find the parts of your setup that haven't kept pace — your software, your guest experience, your revenue strategy — and hand you a clear plan to bring them forward.

Same disconnected software. Same operational blind spots. We audit both — no matter what you pour.

You already know something isn't working.

Paying for programs that overlap, duplicate, or sit unused

Guests who visit once and never come back — no membership, no mailing list, no second visit

A tool you bought two years ago that nobody on your team actually uses

Events that fill seats but don't build loyalty or repeat visits

Manual data entry eating hours your team doesn't have

Staff who don't know how — or when — to close a sale

Three steps. One clear plan.

Every engagement is built around what your business actually needs — not a template.

1

We come to you

Every engagement starts on-site. We walk your operation, talk to your team, and map everything — from the programs you're paying for to the way a visitor decides whether to buy.

2

We find what matters

Through a structured evaluation, we identify where your software is costing you more than it should, where your operations are leaving revenue behind, and where the two connect. We scope the engagement around what your business actually needs.

3

You get a Playbook

Your Cohort Analytics Playbook is a custom deliverable — not a report that sits in a drawer. Depending on your engagement, it covers your software systems, your operations, or both: what to cut, what to fix, what to build on, and what to do over the next 12 months.

Built from inside
the industry.

We're not consultants who read a blog post about hospitality last year. Zach has spent 15 years inside wine and beverage operations. Madeleine has spent years turning first-time visitors into regulars. Together, they cover both sides of what makes a tasting room, taproom, or retail floor run — the systems and the experience.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Certified Specialist of Wine · Certified Sommelier · Certified Software Engineer

Zach is a Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine, and certified software engineer with an MBA in progress and 15 years inside American wine and beverage operations — from California to Connecticut to New York City, and home to Long Island. He's trained tasting room and restaurant staff in hospitality, built e-commerce systems that increase sales year over year, designed membership and loyalty programs that retain customers and grow, and watched enough businesses lose money to the same fixable problems that he built Cohort Analytics to fix them. You'll find him in the field, leading every on-site engagement himself.

Madeleine Koestner
Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer
Event Strategy · Business Development · Wine Enthusiast

Madeleine spent years running events for her micro cinema in Queens — managing ticketing, guest flow, vendor relationships, staffing, and the moment a first-time visitor becomes a regular. At Cohort Analytics, she brings that same discipline to every client: building events and programs that convert guests into members and return visitors, leading wedding consulting and business development, and shaping every piece of marketing and copy that carries the Cohort name.

Common questions.

What size business is this for?
Any size. We scope every engagement around what you actually need — the difference is your priorities, not your production volume or cover count.
What do I need to prepare before you arrive?
Very little. After booking, we'll send a short intake form asking about your current programs and top priorities. That's it — we come prepared so you don't have to do homework.
How does the 1-hour evaluation work?
One focused hour — on-site or remote — where we review your current setup and tell you exactly what we'd fix first. You walk away with clear next steps whether or not you move forward. The cost applies as a credit toward any engagement.
What's included in the check-in calls?
Six 30-minute calls over six months, included with the Software Essentials engagement. We review how the playbook is performing, track changes, and adjust recommendations as your operation evolves.
Where do you work?
We serve craft beverage and hospitality businesses across North America. Travel logistics and any pricing adjustments are discussed as part of the booking process.
What are your payment terms?
50% due upfront, 50% at project completion. We accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle.
